Chumbe Island featured as part of Green Destination 2020 Sustainable Top 100 Destinations

Chumbe Island is listed for the second consecutive year in the Sustainable Top 100 Destinations List awarded by Green Destinations.

The Sustainable Top 100 competition is organised on an annual basis by Green Destinations and partners with the aim to showcase sustainability good practices of emerging and established destinations. Nominations are made based on 30 core sustainability criteria from the Green Destinations Standard (GSTC-Recognised) and a well-written Good Practice Story of destination sustainability.

We submitted our Good Practice Story which was then judged and used as a basis for us being awarded. You can read our Good Practice Story here

You can see the full list of the Top 100 Destinations from around the world here.

We are also featured in the Good Travel Guide, a new platform for travelers, which presents GD-Destinations and certified travel offers.
