Our talented chefs prepare mouthwatering dishes that are a mixture of Zanzibarian, Arabic, Indian and African cuisine. Fresh, local seafood, meat, vegetables, and fruits are used to create some of the most delicious dishes on Zanzibar which satisfy both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
CHICOP purchases only fresh fish from local fishers and has implemented a seafood purchasing policy, endeavoring to purchase pelagic fish species that are neither threatened nor caught in shallow coral reefs through unsustainable fishing techniques. “A Sustainable Seafood Guide” has been developed to help our decision making and raise awareness among our guests and suppliers.
